East Rochester Fire Department

Welcome to the East Rochester Volunteer Fire Department Website.

The East Rochester Fire Department is comprised of more than 40 active firefighters. We cover a 3 square mile area and have multiple mutual aid agreements with surrounding towns in the county. We are proud members of the 3rd Battalion in Monroe County, NY

ERFD responds to around 400 calls every year. Assisting the Home of Champions and the surrounding departments 24/7 whenever called upon.

Festival Weekend runs from July 16th - 19th, 2025

Wednesday, July 16th

5:00 pm - Famous Chicken BBQ - at the ER Fire Department
7:00pm to 9:00pm - Concert in the Eyer Building Parking Lot

Friday. July 18th

6:00pm to 10:00pm - Food Trucks - at the fairgrounds
8:00pm to Midnight - BB Dang - at the fairgrounds

Saturday, July 19th

6:00pm to 10:00pm - Food Trucks - at the fairgrounds
6:30pm - Firemans Parade
8:00pm to Midnight - Tryst - at the fairgrounds

Food Trucks both nights at the Fairgrounds. This is an 18 + event and all under 18 must be accompanied by an ADULT

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS: The East Rochester Fire Department needs you help!

The ER Fire Department is attempting to update over 200 business PRE-PLANS that are intended to be used in the event of an emergency. Information to be collected includes the Business Contact(s), a Site Plan, a reference to the locations of utilities and any exposure to risks.

You can help by completing an online form by clicking on ER Pre-Plan Form. Your response will benefit you in the event of a fire emergency and may save the lives of the firefighters responding to your business.
